Mom Died

Hey brothers and sis. My mother passed away about 5 am Friday morning. Wednesday afternoon she had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from her colon. The surgery went well. The recovery not so much. I'm fine, but shocked. She was 82 and extremely active and healthy. She worked a 40 hour a week job. Drove all over the place. In church three times a week. Just a vibrant, witty, bundle of sass and energy. I fully expected her to outlive me. Or at least live well past 100. But now I'm the oldest in my family, and I guess next in line. Lol. She will be missed.

My deepest condolences brother

That's very frustrating and sad to read. We are all here for you man! it's rough losing your mom, mine passed away suddenly in 2015, and I think of her all the time. My grandm other was the same age as your mom, and she was very active too. She had a stroke after a TAVR procedure for her heart, and it damaged a whole side of her brain. A year prior, she was still getting up on her roof to make sure some of the workers were doing it right, lol.
