Sorry to hear Rough - condolences brother. Crazy how our moms circumstances were so similar. My mom was active, in great shape, walked 3 miles every day, worked also. In 2014 my mom was 83, and she told me in August she was having some slight lower back pain. Two weeks later she was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and was gone 6 weeks later. Total shocker as well bro! I believe you're a man of faith, as am I, so knowing they are in paradise now helps.

Feel for ya brother. Been there recently and it fckn sucks. Didn’t hit me til 2-3 months after and time only helped from then on out

Yeah, I know what you mean AB. Right now I'm just very busy trying to settle her affairs. I have two sisters that flew in from Montana and Afghanistan (she's a pilot private contractor). So at least I have some help. What sucks is my dog died on the 3rd, my Mom on the 10th. Funny story. My sister the Dr from Montana and her daughter who is a private contractor at McDill, are staying at Mom's. My wife is helping us bag and box stuff up. My wife, you all know she has alzheimers, was emptying out their suit cases and bagging their stuff up. I love that lady. She is wild crazy. A light moment in the middle of all the cat fighting between my sisters.

Like I told you yesterday I'm very sorry for your loss. I was in a similar situation with my mom in 2005

On Mrs. Rough...A guy that worked for me had parents and in-laws all sick at the same time, mom & FIL both physically and MIL and dad both with alzheimers. One thing he told me he learned early was when the things come they do that bother you, don't, instead laugh. You just gotta laugh or you will make yourself crazy and they cannot help it. So love them and laugh. Not so you upset them but laugh so you aren't upset. This one was funny and I'm sure helped with the circumstances as well..

Very sad news especially because she was so active. It’s never easy but those conditions make it more difficult. You are the Man. We all love you. Be the heart!
