Fuck 43yrs old, no gonna lie. The thought of stopping all together has popped in my brain a few times. But can't imagine not strength training and losing size. Is stopping me, but looking forward to being a grandpa when my boys have kids.

Might be time so stop blasting and just trt. Rely on just diet, lowers poundage higher reps.

Well I'm old enough thst im on Medicaire and at my full retirementage for social security. I am a gramps. Oldest grandson is 13, youngest granddaughter 1. This year ive been off since January for the first time in over a decade. Ive lost some size, but im still a big boy. Ive lost some strength, but im still strong. The only minus for me honestly is the pain in my shoulders. Cyp always keeps my joints lubricated. And my libido is down, but not gone. I like being off. But i have 14 vials of cyp and some tbol and adrol. So i can see a cycle coming up soon. But no more trt for me. Ive had too many negatives from being on all the time.

If don't mind me asking, how much were you doing on trt? I've been on it trt for many years and I'm 60. Realized in my younger years I'd only compete up to a certain age but never blasted compared to what I read on forums. Haven't done orals in like 15years. Do micro dosing and have tried many combos with good results. All health markers are spot on and just enjoy lifting and working out in general. I can say trt has helped me a lot and to Emeric on PM to turning me on micro dosing sometime back.

Ive been training since 1978 (I'm 56) but stayed NATTY until age 50 when I got bloods and my Test was below low-normal. (253-total). I jumped on TRT (125 mg a week) and twice a year I do (my style of) blast, which is 1 cc Test (250), 1 cc MAST (200), 1 cc Deca (200). I find I get a healing and estrogen mgt benefit, plus a little extra gym-boost. However, nearing week-8 I am definitely ready to wind it back down to 1/2 a cc of Test only for my TRT. (I start to feel a bit toxic, and the sides (prostate, anxiety, etc).

I wont do that long as Im getting up there, but on paper it really is still a little bit of gear (650 mg's total) and only for 8-weeks. And my blood-work stays all in-range.

Though some numbers climb a bit (Hematocrit, PSA, etc). For me, I treat these as very powerful substances, and while I don't need much, I can still feel their effects.

Some of these guys dying juiced heavy for decades (Pro's) without much time off, where blood thickens, plaque can build, etc. Throw COVID and Vax into the mix, both can cause cardiac-issues as we've seen.

Older guys just dont need much...
