    2x a day routine

    Hey guys, I'm starting a winter bulker in a few weeks. I've found time to workout twice a day so I'm thinking about a split like this. Each workout will be 15 sets rep range from 6-10. Think this looks good or over training... Note: I will be using anabolics.

    Sunday - Off

    Monday
    AM - Bis
    PM - Chest

    Tuesday
    AM - Calves/Forearms
    PM - Hammies/ Lowerback

    Wednesday
    AM - Delts
    PM - Off

    Thursday
    AM - Abs
    PM - Back

    Friday
    AM - Tris
    PM - Quads

    Saturday
    AM - Traps
    PM - Off

    i have never been a fan of training twice a day. 6 days and going twice a day on some is overtraining imo...

    i find for myself the less i go to the gym, like 4 days the bigger i get. i used to go 6...

        I would def do this in one work out....also...if you want abs you got to train them 3 x a week.....

        Calves 2x a week....

          How do you figure? What's different about your abs and calves compared to your other muscles?

              I will start Monday. Last week I set all my weights to figure out where I should start. I'm doing a 10,8,6 rep scheme increasing weight every set, sometimes adding another 4th set for a burnout at light weight (we'll see ). Either way, I figured my weights and this week I'm taking off completely so I'm recovered completely to start hitting it hard. I always log my workouts in a journal, if I don't get to lazy I'll try to update on this board as well.

                please throw your up journal bro. i was hell bent on doing a 2x a day program but got talked out of it... something i may like to try down the road a bit.

                        Two a day training is not good for adding bulk, regardless of how many calories your consuming, your going to overtrain bro. Rest = growth.

                          I don't know how you can justify that considering I"m only doing each body part once a week. Working out twice a day just puts the body in an anabolic state more often, no?
