    Clomid and sperm

I was under the impression that clomid increased sperm count and was taken by men with low T or to help with sperm health/motility.
I came across an article that said some men have an opposite effect. Anyone take clomid to increase their fertility opportunities?

    https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3310...20respectively.

“Of the men included in these studies, 19%, 21%, 17% and 24% of clomiphene-treated men demonstrated a decrease in sperm count, concentration, motility and total motile sperm count respectively”

That abstract isn’t real clear, and I’m not sure what the purpose of it was….what about the inverse 81%, 19%, 83%, and 76%, did their sperm count go UP?? Is that article simply saying that clomid didn’t work in 100% of men included in the study?

The reality is, for every study there is proving something right, there’s a study proving it wrong.

This definitely is true. It's also used by porn stars to increase the volume of ejaculate.

lol. If it works for them…it’ll work for me!
I’ll just have to deal with the emotional side effects.

I’ve been on 50mg clomid daily for the past 5 months.. I ran TRT for 8 years without break. My swimmers were at 0.. last analysis I had a few weeks ago, 20 million (still considered low but better than 0).. also raised test level from 50 to 350..

Are you off everything completely other than the clomid?
If so, that’s pretty good from just clomid therapy.

Yup, stopped everything and only 50mg clomid daily. the doc I’m seeing actually prefers clomid for TRT that way you can still have children if desired..
