basskiller or anyone? -- Proxy sites

We have a webfilter here at work... In order to access certain content I have to use a proxy site. I usually use

    or

but our outgoing e-mail here at work has been blacklisted. I am praying I am not the cause. Can these proxies open us up for viruses or trojan? If so will they be able to track it down to me? I will get fired.

I'm not understanding the part about blacklisted. are you talking about your work email being blacklisted.. if so where are you saying it's blacklisted from..

as for the viruses.. If you go to a site that contains trojans and or viruses.. Then yes you can get them while using a proxy.

It is possible to track it back to your computer in most cases. The wifey's company can pull up her computer ID and see exactly what she is typing in real time.. also any sites that she visited. (It's a high security payroll job)

If they do, using a proxy to circumvent their security measures will most certainly get you fired.. especially if you introduced a virus into the system

Good it wasn't you brah! Btw, I tried those 2 proxies you listed...neither worked. Do you have to login/be a member for them to work?
