The major difference in various forms of testosterones is the half life, this establishes how long perticular test stays viable in the human body. Here is a quite comphrensive list of various half lives of various compounds.

*Winstrol depot does not actually possess a classical half-life because it is un-esterified. Instead, the microcrystals dissolve slowly. Once they have all dissolved levels of the drug fall very rapidly. It is still an important consideration, and we have included it with a half-life of one day.

A practical example is if one was to inject 100mg of testosterone propionate and allow blood levels to peak. In 4.5 days time (half-life duration from the above tables) and providing no other injections had taken place, the level would be reduced to 50mg. Again, a further 4.5 days down the line and levels would have dropped to 25mg, and the value keeps halving every 4.5 days.

good post LI. i think sustanon too, has some unique characteristics based on the various combination of half-lives it consists of. i believe it comes up quicker (like prop) and stays at peak levels longer than typical long acting esters do (as opposed to a gradual increase, peak, and then gradual decrease). that is why sust is my favorite test.

Cypionate, enathate, propionate are the name of esters that are attached to a compound like testosterone. The difference in there half lives also has to do with with the amount of carbons each ester has, for example Prop has 3 carbons and is short lasting, enathate is a 7 carbon and is medium to long lasting and cypionate is and 8 carbon ester with a very slight longer half life than enanthate. The more carbons in the ester the longer the half life. The downside is the more carbons the more the ester weight. So enathate with 7 carbons acutally has a higher testosterone to ester ratio than cypionate because cypionate has more carbons. Now Sustanon is not an ester but it a steriod with 4 different blends of tesoterone/esters which are propionate (3 carbons ester) Isocaproate (6 carbon) PhenylPropionate (9 carbon ) and decanoate (10 carbon). Omnadren is another steroid which has a blend of four different tesoterone esters, two which are the same as sustanon. The two that are the same are the propionate and the phenylpropionate, but the two that are different are isohexanoate and hexanoate (they replace the isocapoate & the decanoate in sust). Omnadren will cause more water retenion than sustanon but will lead to faster gains than sustanon, the only drawback is that omnadren converts more readily to estrogen than sust, so its always good to have anti e's handy. Also when taking a testerone with a long half life one should begin PCT 2wks after there last injection for that is when blood levels will be low enough to begin PCT.
