this makes me mad as can be....

buddy of mine is currently running winny, and eq first cycle ever, and is blowing the f**k up. i'm happy for him there. i am not happy about the fact that he eats like crap, and trains lackadaisicaly (sp?). when i say blowing up, i mean, he is gaining muscle. he doenst have the puffy, smooth lookl, he has the lean, sinewy, haha i am not putting forth much effort and getting superb results look. what gives with this?

it has to do with the fact that it is his first cycle, good genetics(time will certainly tell)and also the gear he is running.if he doesn't train hard,he probably won't get far though.first time users will gain no matter what, but after awhile they will need to bust ass to make gains.unless he is a true genetic freak(probably not)the real world of training will hit him like a ton of bricks, rest assured.

damn i wish i had the genetics he had. i am not kidding he has to have put on 15 lbs. already, and i dotn see that he will have to do a "cutting cycle". oh well, more power to him. i will just continue my 5:30 a.m workouts, and grueling racquetball.

RB,if your goal is trying to add size, maybe you should cut out the raquetball, you may be burning too many calories.

size and lean muscle is my goal. i just did my first cycle of sus 250 ,and deca, and gained a boatload of water weight. im using the racquetball to get rid of the water weight. plus i love racquetball, except for the whole getting hit in the eye without goggles on thing.

RB,have you thought about using nolvadex, proviron, liquidsx, etc. to control your water retention?

Takemo is right on the money with anti-e. proviron and liquidex are real good about preventing bloat. in my area, proviron is pretty exspensive but from what i have found, liquidex is much cheaper.

i took clomid as an anit-e, even though the crap tasted awful. i just got done with four weeks of it. my first cycle was pretty careless. i just saw that a lot of folks took test and sus, with clomid at the end, and i did that as well. i have made great gain, i think about 15 lbs of lean muscle, but next cycle will be much more thought out.

The best two anti-es IMO are femera, and OTC 6-OXO

over the counter 6-oxo. buddy of mine runs a sports nutrition store, and he has it there. its like 50/ bottle. alot of guys who do prohormone cycles run 6-oxo afterwards. supposed to be pretty good stuff. obviously so if pro thinks so. any mod here already has my respect because of the way the act towards the members. real cool, and helpful. thanks pro! this is by far the best board i have seen as far as mods helping out. no offense to mods at other boards, this is just my opinion.

A study on 6-OXO was recently completed by a prestigious clinical research organization*. This study examined the blood hormone responses over a 3 week cycle of 600mg a day of 6-OXO. The study used 6 normal men aged 32-40, and in addition to tracking changes in sex hormone levels it also looked at common indicators of toxicity.

The results were very impressive. Total testosterone levels rose an average of 188%, while free testosterone levels rose an average of 226% over the course of the three weeks. The variability among the 6 subjects was quite low, and most of the testosterone increase was seen after only the first week. Results from two of the six subjects are demonstrated below.

(see next two posts for graphs)

Contrary to testosterone levels, changes in estradiol levels were slight but not statistically significant. The explanation for this is simple. 6-OXO acts to inhibit the aromatase enzyme and block the conversion of testosterone to estradiol. A consequence of this is a signal from the brain to increase production of testosterone to compensate for the blocked estradiol production. As testosterone levels increase, so do estradiol levels since more substrate has now become available for the aromatase enzyme. Basically, what has occurred is the establishment of a new baseline level of testosterone to maintain the body’s normal levels of estradiol.

This sort of hormonal response is very desirable. It is probably not healthy to lower estradiol levels below the physiologically normal range, so if we are able to raise testosterone without lowering estradiol this is great! Mind you, we don’t know what will happen if doses over 600mg a day are ingested. It could be that at higher dosages the aromatase inhibition becomes too great for increased testosterone production to overcome. In that case, a more dramatic lowering of estradiol will be seen. This is something that we probably want to avoid, at least for any longer than the short term.

                          No evidence of acute toxicity

A complete metabolic analysis was done examining changes in blood cells and lipids, liver function, kidney function, and immune function. No adverse changes were observed in any of these areas over the course of the three weeks. In fact, indications are that liver function actually improved slightly, and average cholesterol level dropped by about 26 points. That is an 11.6% reduction in cholesterol in 3 weeks! The explanation for this dramatic improvement is not known at this time.

                          Conclusion

The conclusion from all this is that 6-OXO appears to be a safe and effective way of raising the body’s own natural testosterone production. This makes it an excellent alternative to prohormones if one does not want to deal with the negatives associated with the use of these compounds. 6-OXO’s potent ability to stimulate natural testosterone production also makes it an excellent agent for bringing hormone levels back to normal after long term use of steroids or prohormones.
