HCG counter productive during taper & after???

For years I have known of many guys that, if could afford it, would use HCG many times during thier cycle (i.e. overlapping when switching from an anobolic to androgenic phase) and some who use it Almost non-stop, so that they never are actually "low" in an attempt to avoid the catabolic crash altogether, however, twice now I've read, for instance on Meso, that HCG is actually conterproductive @ taper or beyond, due to inhibition to pituitary & LH - Counter productivity from this drug at any dose, at anytime, is new to my brain. I had always been taught that HCG would be a good idea 2/3rds of the year, if you could afford it -
What do you guys think?
