This is what I do for rapid fat loss without felling like shit. Helps to maintain muscle to in conjunction with weight training.

Take your bodyweight in pounds multiply by 10 to get your daily allowance of calories. Then shoot for 55-60% protein, 20-25% carbs and less than 15% of your daily calories from fats. Remember carbs and proteins have 4 calories per gram and fats equal 9 calories per gram. As you lose weight your daily calorie intake will decrease because 10 X your lower bodyweight will of course be less.

do you rotate your carb intake daily ?

i feel it is the best way to go for me .

Great post Doc!!!! I'm in total agreement with you on everything you state.

Ton of real solid info between you guys

Im not too knowledgeable on how the science of things work but I know what VJ said certainly works very well

Hi liftsiron,
Thanks for sharing your equation for fat loss with everyone.
I guess intake of carbs also depends upon your exercise in gym.
I can't compare with you guys as you are master in your field. Just want to to share a sheet with you, hope you appreciate it.

hows your diet look

Yeah this is the most simple diet plan i have ever seen..
This would also help you to change taste every day...
Just need to strictly follow your calorie intake and can change the food.

Great posts from Lifts and Doc.

Doc, your diet is much like the one Vince Gironda used to recommend.

Yes basskiller is right and you must give complete schedule of your daily eating and then you can be easily suggested someways to reduce your weight.

Yes Admin ,
It is a nice suggestion for fat loss when you are having some muscular exercises. Well people doing gym should prefer intake of suitable amount of carbs and proteins as an essential feature of your diet. By following this schedule you should maintain a handsome weight.
Thanx.

I think that's pretty close to a keto diet but not quite. Looks good. Actually it's encouraging b/c that's pretty much what works for me. I seem to drop a lot of water under 200 g of carbs a day and that alone makes a big difference in the look. I get carb sensitive easily.

I've used a similar protocol many times, and it works well. I'll adjust carbs up and down a little as needed....mainly increase a little on w/o days, and slightly lower on non-w/o days. Protein stays the same, as does fats usually.
