Good news on the Proposed Telemedicine Rule.

The DEA has received 38,000 comments and complaints on the proposed telemedicine rule.

They responded with this statement. "We take those comments seriously and are considering them carefully. We recognize the importance of telemedicine in providing Americans with access to needed medications, and we have decided to extend the current flexibilities while we work to find a way forward to give Americans that access with appropriate safeguards."

So it looks like it could be a while if at all before the new proposal gets approved.

So it looks like we're good until November 11 2023. November 11 2024 if your already on TRT via a telemedicine provider.

The DEA is reevaluating the new proposed rule after receiving tons of complaints.

The current rule will remain in place until November 11 2023. It also states that if your currently on TRT via a telemedicine provider or get on it before November 11 2023 you'll have a full year grace period if they do change the rule to a mandated visit.

So if your not on TRT and are considering it now might be a good time to do it.

While TRT isn't specifically mentioned in the temporary rule its a controlled substance and falls under the rule.

Here's a link to the DEA site with the info so you can read it. https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/...2023-09936.pdf
