How do you do it? I always say I'm gonna take it slow and ramp it up but a few sets in and I'm pushing myself early each comeback...pain oh my each time....

Its not easy sometimes. I get frustrated because of how much strength and size I've lost so I try and do the same. I just have to keep tellin' myself to take it slow and try and work more on form than the amount of weight to push. -
It's been a while for me, I've been pretty healthy and haven't had to take any time off.
I found it best to hit half workouts the first round of body parts. It sucks to be sore but you also don't want to overtrain so they won't grow. We also have joint health to consider. I'm no spring chicken anymore and my elbows, knees, shoulders, etc... give me problems anyways without overloading them, lol
I like to go at a time when it's close to empty so I can concentrate on building back up without worrying about anyone around me.
Of course I don't like a bunch of people eitherComment

I think it's best to use lighter weights until you get into the swing of things.ADMIN/OWNER@Peak-MuscleComment

I did light weights but slow and squeeze. Only 2 sets per exercise first week. 3 sets second week. 4 sets next week. Little more weight each week. Back to normal 5th week. Wasn’t too sore. Seemed to work well.Comment
