the difference between beach body lean and stage ripped

i'll turn 50 next year... and was thinking about doing a physique master competition ( the one where you wear swimshorts). and i have never done any kind of competition before.

i stay on the lean side pretty much year round... but have never been staged ripped. and it seems the jump from where i am to stage ripped might require a lot of suffering...lol...

and would it require a lot of drugs?.. as i have always run very mild bast and lately no orals. would i need clen? winny and anavar? all on top of the classic tren and masteron.

anyone who has experience with this... any advice would be appreciated

Not anavar, Winstrol. Winstrol is the cutting oral in my experience. Anavar gives me strength and insane pumps that stay. But winny leans you.
I've never competed on anything bodybuilding related, but have experimented with everything. If I were to enter a bodybuilding comp, I'm too big for physique in my opinion, I would run tren a, mast pp, test prop, Winstrol for 8 weeks along with strict diet and high intensity high rep, minimal rest sets, then stop drugs and training 2 weeks out. Train just enough to maintain. Then carb up day before show, get pumped backstage, then give them a run for their money.
But what do I know about it really.
The PL comps I've competed in I would eat two big macs, fries and a milk shake while waiting for my turn on each lift.

Hey krust have you went to a physique show similar to what you would compete in? That will give you an idea of what is needed to win or at least show well.

In physique the conditioning is not over the top crazy compared to BBing.

I haven't been close to single digits in about 5 years. In single digits the last time was probably in my late 20s when I was cutting weight to fight. In my 30s I stayed at about 10% for about 3 years and I miss that look. Then again it's probably best not to have all that temptation at this point.

Yea looking at your pics you don't look at that far off in terms of conditioning. Really close. Need alittle size maybe depending on where the show is and at what level. Some of those physique contests are having bigger guys than they used to.

i watched some of those top level shows on youtube... certainly not ready for that!.. hoping for a semi local smaller show.. so maybe i can hang with that..

truthfully i been keeping my size down as i feel better at a lighter weight.. so might not be a big deal to put on some size... as i was 220-230 before (more fat too of course) and 190lbs now... there are weight classes in most physique shows right?

also i cut down a few lbs for summer... but didn't have the motivation to get RIPPED.. i figured a contest would be some serious motivation to keep going into the single digits hopefully

The physique guys have evolved to ultra ripped maybe not quite to the extent of the BB's but close.
