    You're right. I don't think I've ever burned oil though. I don't turn the stove on more than 2 and repeatedly am taking it out and letting it cool. Just enough heat to dissolve everything. Filtering is what really gets the microorganisms

      Stick the vial in a cup of hot water for 5 minutes and boom!

        Yep, I usually use a hair dryer. For crashed gear at least.
