Seriously, whats the difference of taking xanax or GHB to sleep?

xanax you get a groggy feeling when u wake up. GHb is real hard to dose and there are no real studies showing its benefits on growth hormone. plus ghb can be physically addictive when taken every night

and at an extreme i know people who can take a bunch of xanax and stay awake if u end up seriously needing sleep and become addicted
but on G, if u take enough u will end up passing out period

If you just use it every once in awhile then dose would stay the same. If you use night after night you will need to increase dose and can become physically addicted to it, just like any other substance.

If you use it every night just to sleep u should be fine...the tolerence of that will grow but it will take a real real long time

if u slip into recreational use obviously its gonna turn out like any other drug u would use

i used ghb for years, back when it available otc. the problem with ghb comes with rec use, if it is used strictly for sleep purposes you will not get habituated to it. if you start taking it with alcohol in the evenings for partying you are headed for a serious crash. xanax is quite addictive and can be problematic if used regularly. this is particularly true for folks with addictive personalities.

sort of a drunken feeling, it isnt' very good for that imo but it does help with sleep.

i agree, it really does not appeal to me in higher doses. since it was unregulated, caused a buzz and readibly available it was inevitable that it would be abused. even when ghb became hard to get you could still buy GBL in 4 liter jugs for under $100 delivered. of course all htat has changed now.....
