Homemade bac water

Has anyone ever made bacteriostatic water?
Isn’t it basically sterile water and benzyl alcohol?
I have a lot of ba left over and sterile water is soo cheap. Couldn’t I just add ba to the sterile water. I believe it’s .09 ml per 10 ml.
3 bottles of 30 ml bac water is $30. 250ml of sterile water is $5

I would use distilled water too instead of sterile water. Sterile water tends to burn more compared to distilled water.
I learned this during my phlebotomy class. We had to inject each other with several different types of water and sterile water hurt the most.

Same as you have posted. Easy enough to do, just add the ba to the water, filter and done.

You can use either or but if you use distilled water you will need to filter it through a .22 filter after you add the .9% BA.
