HGH VIALS COST LESS BUT PENS-----------------

Norditropin is one of several FDA-approved brands of HGH which are proven as safe and effective for the therapy of growth hormone deficiency (GHD) in both children and adults.

The medication has undergone extensive medical and scientific research. The results have shown that subcutaneous injections using Norditropin can restore normal HGH levels in GHD patients and alleviate all symptoms related to the condition.

HGH therapy with Norditropin can help restore your muscle mass, reduce abdominal fat, boost energy levels and libido, improve sleep, and increase bone mineral density.

How does Norditropin work?
Norditropin works by restoring the HGH levels in your body to physiological levels.

It is effective even if your pituitary gland may have partially or completely lost its ability to produce HGH since Norditropin delivers in your body exogenous growth hormone.

Norditropin injections contain exogenous HGH, which is produced via a recombinant DNA technology and it has an identical 191-amino acid structure as the HGH naturally produced by the human pituitary gland.

How long does Norditropin take to work?
Subcutaneous injections with Norditropin cause a peak in your blood HGH levels 4 hours after administration. The half-life of the medication is between 7-10 hours after administration.

You will notice the first benefits of HGH therapy with Norditropin after at least 4 weeks of daily use. Your symptoms will improve gradually for the first several months, starting with your body composition and energy levels.

It may take up to 6 months for some benefits (such as increased bone mass) to occur and several years until they reach a maximum.

What is Norditropin used for?
Norditropin is FDA-approved for use in adults with growth hormone deficiency (GHD). It can also be used to treat muscle wasting due to AIDS.

Norditropin is also FDA-approved for use in children with growth failure due to GHD and short stature associated with Noonan syndrome, Turner syndrome, or other genetic and idiopathic conditions.

How effective is Norditropin?
Norditropin contains recombinant HGH which can successfully reverse all symptoms of growth hormone deficiency in both children and adults.

Norditropin has been shown to effectively reduce body fat including the visceral fat that accumulates around the waist and internal organs. This type of fat is associated with an increased risk of heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.

Furthermore, it lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol, increases lean body mass, and improves markers of bone formation.

Will Norditropin get my vitality, energy, and body composition back?
Norditropin helps restore HGH levels in patients with GHD, which is associated with reducing symptoms of chronic fatigue, fat gain, and muscle loss.

Thus, therapy with Norditropin can restore your vitality, energy, and body composition back to their levels before developing GHD.

Can females use Norditropin?
There are NO differences between the HGH produced in the male and the female body. Thus, both men and women with GHD can be treated successfully with recombinant HGH such as Norditropin.

Women may need slightly higher doses compared to men, due to the antagonistic effects of estrogen.

How much Norditropin should I take?
Norditropin should be injected daily, and your dosage should be carefully titrated by your physician. The standard dosage according to the non-weight-based method is 0.2 mg per day (equal to 0.6 IU/day), injected subcutaneously.

Then your dose will be increased by 0.1-0.2 mg every 4-8 weeks until you reach an optimal dose. That will ensure maximum effectiveness without any side effects. If you develop any adverse reactions, your doctor will reevaluate and lower your dose.

For the weight-based approach, the maximum starting dose of Norditropin is 0.004 mg per kg of your body weight and can be increased every 6 weeks up to 0.016 mg per kg of your body weight.

Can you use Norditropin with other hormone medications?
You can take Norditropin with other hormonal medications but doing so may require adjusting the dosage of one or both medications.

For example, using Norditropin alongside glucocorticoid or oral estrogen therapy may attenuate the benefits of HGH. Thus, the Norditropin dosage should be increased accordingly.

Norditropin may increase insulin resistance, and patients with diabetes may require higher doses of insulin and/or other hypoglycemic medications to maintain normal blood sugar levels.

Other than that there are no known dangerous drug-drug interactions with Norditropin.

What are the side effects of Norditropin?
Norditropin has side effects that are similar to other HGH injections, including water retention and insulin resistance. Insulin sensitivity usually returns back to normal after the 3rd month of therapy.

The increased water retention can lead to adverse reactions such as edemas, carpal tunnel syndrome, joint pain, and headache. These side effects can be ameliorated by adjusting the dose of Norditropin.

Local adverse reactions at the injection site are also possible. Typical side-effects after subcutaneous injections include redness, short-term bleeding, pain, discomfort, and swelling. They resolve spontaneously without treatment.

Can you get a prescription for Norditropin online?
You can’t get your prescription for Norditropin online, since your doctor can confirm your diagnosis only during an in-person medical exam. The diagnosis requires a physical examination and specific tests that can be performed only in medical settings.

Once you have a legal prescription for Norditropin, you can use it to purchase the medication online from licensed clinics and pharmacies.

How to take Norditropin?
All HGH products including Norditropin are available as injections only. Norditropin needs to be injected subcutaneously on a daily basis in order to be effective. It’s best to take the medication before bed in order to mimic the natural HGH release.

How to inject Norditropin?
Norditropin should be injected subcutaneously. The best injection sites are the abdominal area around the navel, lower loins/upper buttocks, lower outer thighs, and upper outer arms.

You should rotate the injection sites every day to prevent a localized loss of fat tissue (lipodystrophy).

What is the average dose of Norditropin for adults?
The average dose of Norditropin will vary a lot between individuals. However, it should not exceed more than 0.016 mg per kg of your body weight.

If you have missed a dose, you should continue taking your medication according to your schedule. Do not attempt to compensate for an injection you missed by increasing your dosage or taking two on the same day.

If you have missed more than one dose, consult with your doctor.

Can you overdose on Norditropin?
Taking too much Norditropin at once can lead to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) followed by hyperglycemia (high blood sugar).

The symptoms include shaking, tremor, dizziness, cold sweats, hunger, headache, drowsiness, weakness, fast heartbeat, nausea, and vomiting.

If you have taken too much Norditropin, seek medical help immediately.

How is Norditropin supplied?
Norditropin is supplied as prefilled and preloaded injector devices called FlexPro Pens. Currently, that is the only form of Norditropin produced by Novo Nordisk.

The device uses the NovoFine needles which are amongst the tiniest on the market. In addition, there is an option to cover the needle to reduce stress during an injection.

The cartridges can’t be refilled, so once the device is empty it must be discarded.

How to store Norditropin injections safely?
You should store all Norditropin FlexPro Pens in a refrigerator before their first use.

Once you have used your new Norditropin FlexPro Pen for the first time, you can store it for 4 weeks in a refrigerator or for 3 weeks at room temperature.

The optimal temperature during refrigerating is 2°C-8°C. Avoid freezing or heating the medication as it will damage the structure of HGH and render the medication ineffective.

How to travel with Norditropin?
You can travel with Norditropin across the US or to another country as long as you carry a signed letter from your doctor and the prescription label that will inform any security personnel checking your luggage.

Make sure to calculate the exact number of doses you will need and take enough of the medication. Keep in mind that Norditropin FlexPro Pen can be stored at room temperature for no longer than 3 weeks.

If you are carrying unused Norditropin or you plan a longer vacation, you should pack the medication in a portable refrigerator or a cooler bag. Do not store it directly on ice packs to avoid freezing and damaging the medication.

What is the difference between Norditropin and other brands?
Omnitrope, Norditropin, Genotropin, and Humatrope all contain recombinant HGH that’s made of 191 amino acids. They are identical to the structure of the naturally produced hormone by the pituitary gland.

However, the different brands vary in their ease of use, storage recommendations, and price.

While all of these brands are available as auto-injector devices, Norditropin FlexPro Pen and Genotropin Miniquicks are the only ones that do not require loading or replacing their cartridges. This makes them easier to use than other injector devices.

However, Genotropin Miniquicks provide only a single dose of HGH per pen.

Therapy with Norditropin is more expensive compared to other pens since once the device is empty it must be discarded.

Yet, the device has higher cost-effectiveness since a lower percentage of the medication is lost during its use compared to other methods for injection or even other pens.

Omnitrope and Humatrope are also available as a lyophilized powder contained in vials. They must be reconstituted with bacteriostatic or sterile water and then injected using regular needles and syringes.

Vials have a lower cost compared to the auto-injector options but more of the medication is lost when using a regular syringe.
