full body 3 days a week

doing behind the neck chin ups, dips, bench DB's, clean and presses, squats and leg presses, alot of explosive movements. trying to shock the system. I only have 3 workouts a week. what do you think this will do. I am hoping it shocks my system into getting leaner by boosting my metabolism. I think full body workouts also keep my intensity very high because I am doing a circuit of going upper body, lower body, upper body etc etc. the first time I did this, I almost puked during crunches after going from clean n presses to squats
what do you think??
 
and what are your thoughts on hyper trophy specific training? pro's and con's
 
I thought it worked well for about 8 weeks or so, then it started to wear me out. It is pretty taxing hitting everything 3 times per week low volume or not.

It was a nice change of routine for awhile though. I liked DC training better, hitting everything low volume 2x per week.
 
I personally don't like training the entire body in one session, BUT in your case for a change of pace and to shock the body, this system may give you the boost that you're looking for.
