Not sure if you guys are aware of this, but Americans are getting fucked bad. We are no longer allowed to import any kind of medication into the USA and are being forced to pay these extremely high US prices, and we are being told Big Pharma is charging us less.

Will this have an effect on the steroid market? I have a long-time friend in China who is in the business. He says NO shipping agents are shipping anything out of China right now. He also warned me that if anyone from China tells you they can ship, they are scammers and will rip you off. They are all waiting for any news that this might change. Effectively, business is shut down. Not such good news.

New U.S. Customs Policy Set to Block International Prescription Shipments, and How You Can Help

A new U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) policy beginning on Oct. 22, 2026, will virtually block all personal prescription medication parcels sent by pharmacies outside the U.S., including those from Canada. Here’s what you need to know:

Q. What is this new policy?

A. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has a new rule titled Indefinite Suspension of the De Minimis Exemption for Mail Shipments and New Postal Informal Entry that will effectively end the ability of millions of U.S. consumers to personally import their prescription medicines.

Q. What will the rule do?

A. We have been advised that, under its planned implementation by CBP and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), shipping medicine to the U.S. will be prohibited in almost all circumstances. The restrictions are expected to apply to pharmaceutical parcels sent by pharmacies anywhere outside the U.S.

Q. Will it affect my ability to order my prescriptions from Canada?

A: Yes, the rule will prevent people in the U.S. from getting their personal prescription medicines from Canada or any other country.

Q. Why is the government doing this?

A. The CBP is taking a new stance claiming personal prescription importation doesn’t comply with FDA guidelines – even though FDA has permitted personal medicine importation for decades. Presumably, the rule was initially set to better screen for illegal narcotics or undervalued merchandise that was avoiding proper tariffs, however CBP has said it will now also prevent personal prescription medicines from being delivered to the U.S.

Q. What will my options be if this rule is enforced?

A. Consumers will need to purchase from a U.S. pharmacy and pay U.S. retail prices for their medicines – regardless of their ability to afford them – or likely go without. The rule is focused on enforcement of strict regulations that the FDA previously acknowledged for decades should be measured in a discretionary manner so that Americans don’t have to abandon their treatments due to cost.

Q. What is CPPI doing to oppose this rule?

A. CPPI is fighting this rule from being implemented or enforced through Congress, the media, and public awareness. The federal government needs to continue to allow personal prescription medicine importation, letting millions of Americans to continue getting their life-saving and life-enhancing medicines at prices that are much more affordable than buying them in the U.S.

Q. What can I do to help?

A. Please send a letter to your member of Congress! Click here to easily do that. You can also serve as impacted citizens the media can interview to show the negative effects of this rule. To be a media resource, add your information here. You could write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper to bring additional attention for your Congressional members. Also, you can tell a friend and ask them to help in this fight. If they join CPPI (it's free) at this link or by visiting www.personalimportation.org/join, they'll be sure to get our update emails for future updates.

Q. How can I get updates?

A. CPPI will email updates to our members and how they can help with our campaign to fight this crippling new rule. Be sure you have joined CPPI at www.personalimportation.org/join to receive those emails. We will also post updates on this website.

This is my reason for posting this. A few days ago. They are coding packages. To avoid bottle-necking customs. It will be easy to stop packs. They can no longer list vitamins or hair care products on decllaration label. Product name must be on label. The contents in the package or declaration description will prevent packages from getting through. China nevers, follows any rules. China packs are being sent back now.

THE PACK BELOW IS CODED AND STOPPED AFTER CUSTOMS RELEASE TO LOCAL DISTRIBUTION CENTER. CODE IS WITHIN BARCODE UPON BEING SCANNED.

This is not affecting raw shipments from CH. I have sources I've used for many years and they are resuming shipping back to normal after the holiday which end Oct 7th. And they are not scamming me. Actually have a few packs that went out before the holiday started and they are moving just fine. Nothing out of the ordinary.

If the CH are good at anything, it's finding new routes/methods for getting raws over here. They always find a way or new loophole.

regards,

D.

That may not be reassurance enough in my opinion, but fingers crossed you are right.

We'll see how things go guys. This enforcement doesn't even start until October 22nd. I have always prided myself on being a step ahead of the game. I am slowly but surely converting all of my overseas medications to American medications. I get my testosterone from a compounding pharmacy and share it with my wife. My wife's prescriptions are coming from Cost Plus Drugs, which is cheaper than overseas prices. I am on Medicare Advantage through my pension, so most of the drugs I need now are free through Medicare Part D. I may have to live without HGH. I just stocked up last month, but it may be that this is done unless we see our government stop this nonsense.

Add this statatement - "We have been advised that, under its planned implementation by CBP and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), shipping medicine to the U.S. will be prohibited in almost all circumstances.

Since proper declaration is necessary, it is going to take some magic to get something through. Prescription meds will not be allowed, as they have been for decades. Also remember there is even a huge crackdown on peptides being imported. Can magic happen? Maybe; there are some clever folks out there but the market is going to be very slow, and this will definitely affect availability and prices.

Oct 22nd is around the block. Someone close to ,I( know a guy). The process has already been successful. I will not post the % rate of stopped packs. Nor will I ask members to speak on this. Because, like anything, "Human Error", chumps everything. Thanks, Big Tex!! I try to stay in my lane.

Everyone, be safe!

Unfortunately if goes much deeper than that. Big Pharma has been complaining for years that Americans should not be allowed to import medication for personal use. So they finally made promises they do not intend to keep. Then came Executive Order 14297.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/presiden...escription-drug-pricing-to-american-patients/

“Sec. 5. Establishing Most-Favored-Nation Pricing. (a) Within 30 days of the date of this order, the Secretary shall, in coordination with the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, the Administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and other relevant executive department and agency (agency) officials, communicate most-favored-nation price targets to pharmaceutical manufacturers to bring prices for American patients in line with comparably developed nations.”

So we are told that prices have been reduced and pointed to TrumpRX. Well, prices there suck and are very limited to mostly GLP-1 drugs that are still way overpriced. So, Americans keep ordering overseas. Big Pharma starts complaining again and the result, in the name of stopping fentanyl, we just prohibit all meds from being brought in overseas. More BS because these fentanyl shipments, for the most part are being walked/trucked over the borders.

Here lies the plot…”(iii) following the report issued under section 13 of Executive Order 14273 of April 15, 2025 (Lowering Drug Prices by Once Again Putting Americans First), the Attorney General and the Chairman of the Federal Trade Commission shall, to the extent consistent with law, undertake enforcement action against any anti-competitive practices identified within such report, including through use of sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Antitrust Act and section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, as appropriate;

(iv) the Secretary of Commerce, and the heads of other relevant agencies as necessary, shall review and consider all necessary action regarding the export of pharmaceutical drugs or precursor material that may be fueling the global price discrimination;

(v) the Commissioner of Food and Drugs shall review and potentially modify or revoke approvals granted for drugs, for those drugs that may be unsafe, ineffective, or improperly marketed; and

(vi) the heads of agencies shall take all action available, in coordination with the Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, to address global freeloading and price discrimination against American patients.”

Big Pharma reneges because they need Americans paying high prices to subsidize the rest of the world. What is Trump going to do about it? Big Pharma is like Big Oil, they do what they want, and no one can touch them.

I'm aware this doesn't go into effect until Oct. 22nd. I've mentioned it to all of my raw suppliers and they don't expect any of this to affect shipping raws into the US. They aren't even worried about it honestly. They are always aware of anything coming that will affect shipping anything to the US, just like the de minimus policy that was supposed to affect raws and didn't do a damn thing. They always find a way around these things/changes in policies.

I have however heard this will disrupt people ordering their medications from India. I get a lot of personal BP meds and sleep meds from over there so I just ordered a shit ton of stuff before this goes into effect.

Lastly, Big Pharma is putting enormous pressure on CBP to look at peptides and HGH coming in from CH more so than raws. Big Pharma is essentially giving the FEDS funds to go after peptide sellers here in the US, when normally FEDS would have to fund these operations themselves(tax funded.)
