I'm thinking of going on HRT. Opinions?

Just a little background, I've always had a goal of training for all around fitness, but have enjoyed the increased strength and size I've gotten from my cycles.

I never intended to be a heavy weight bodybuilder so my cycles followed suit.
I cycled on and off in my early twenties, was natural from late 20's to mid 30's and started cycling again around 36.

I've always used moderate doses compared to most, usually less than a gram and I've always been happy with my results.

The trouble is now I'm in my early forties and I'm getting tired of all the things that go along with being exclusively underground.

I have been mostly "on" for the last 5 years or so and coming completely off isn't desirable to me.

I was thinking of switching to some short acting before I get blood work so my crash is minimal...What do you think bro's? Pro's cons?

I think a crash is inevitable. I would just come off and add clomid and nolvadex and pray the doctor has a brain in his head

I would come off w/o pct, crash then go to the Doctor for bloodwork. Getting hrt isn't that easy with most Docs.

I went on HRT about two years ago. I'm 48 now. Good thing is he prescribed me injectable Cyp. My doctor is very conservative. Wants me in the low normal range. 200mg every two weeks. He orders blood work twice a year so I make sure I'm low normal for those. Otherwise I usually run more and other injectables. Rarely do orals anymore. I also do my own blood work at least once a year.

I found the med profession to be incredibly incompetent in this whole subject it tool me years to convince them to test me came in below 200 they totally screwed up treating me and refused to listen to me on dose and timing. I asked doc if he could test regular to see if I was hurting my self. Is now several years later and I get healthier every year and he denies that it is more than a coincidence. My lung doc says i am the only paitent that he has ever had to recover as well as I have but does not want to hear about it.

Getting on trt is easier that it used to be. Only thing they don't want to prescribe much just to keep you in the low normal range. Half the time I skip my dose

It's definitely a blessing if you have a doc that knows this area well. The here are few it seems. If you can get access to one, it definitely the way to go once we get a little older and tired of the game.

The first doc was impossible. Thbe second was with an HRT clinic and he just wanted to sell me expensive juic,e and peps and ancillaries. So I called up a couple compounding pharmas in my area and got some names of docs. Then I researched them to see who was good. Now I have a great doc. He actually gives a shit about my healtha nd is pro TRT. He's like my slightly older Jewish brother. As far s trt, I think its good and bad. Its easy to jump on cycle a cou0ple 3 times a year and end up blast and cruising. After about 50 that's probably not a good idea for most people but something a lot of us struggle with.

Im on trt but it took a long time before the doc prescribed injectables. Had to go through the cream and upping the dosage and crap. I had to tell him my skin was reacting to the cream and i was worried about my kid touching it before he would prescribe shots. My doc doesn't know shit.
