So everybody likes to talk about what we love about being ON cycle, but rarely about when OFF cycle. I've been OFF for about 6 weeks or so. Not OFF 100%, but TRT only - test e @ 150mg ew. The things that suck is the loss of strength and the weight drop after being OFF for about 4 weeks. I'm down from 260 to 250 now. Obviously, that shiznit happens when we go OFF or cut back dramatically. My last cycle was a 12 weeker of test @ 500mg ew and anavar @ 50mg ed (for 8 of those weeks).
Now the good stuff. Even though that was a rather mild cycle I recently ran, noticeable things are a drop in heart rate and blood pressure. I can now cut the grass without my lower back getting soooo tight and cramping up after only 10 minutes at it. I can brush my teeth, shave, take a shower without my biceps or pecs pumping up & cramping after only 2 minutes into it. I can bang the ol' lady Rover style without my lats cramping up after only 5 minutes into it and having to switch positions. I attribute all the cramping to the var - best damn var I ever had btw.
Another bonus is my appetite isn't as much as when ON. Don't get me wrong - I still try to get in enough cals and macros to maintain, but I don't feel nearly as hungry, so I can eat smaller portions and get full, and also I don't feel the need to eat something when I wake up in the middle of the night to piss bcoz I'm so hungry.
A few other things: I don't get winded as fast. I don't get crippling pumps after only 2 sets in the gym, sometimes even on warm-ups. My stomach bloat goes down, and I feel like I can do a vacuum much easier. I fall asleep faster, and more soundly to boot. While not nearly as vascular and full, I can see separation between the muscles better, mainly between the bis and tris when flexed like in a front bi shot. Guess that's why all the pros drop damn near everything 2 weeks out - to lose the water, even be it ever so small.
Oh yeah, another goodie is the sitting back and methodically calculating - while frothing, grant you - of what we're gonna run come NEXT cycle.lol
That's all I can think of for now. Ya'll chime in and add your experiences about the positives of being OFF.
