Figured I'd log a bit. I find keeping a lod really focusses me and will probably need it. Last spring I ripped the left rotator in three spots and cracked the socket as the Humerous rammed into the joint. was a softball coaching accident in soggy conditions ( I guess I showed them how NOT to round third).
The rehab for this went well and is on going with my lifts in the upper movement range going from labored at 0 weight to me returning to about 40% of previous PR loads. So don't laugh at my pink dumbbells please...
The next issue is a full knee replacement on the left side this feb. I have been in an brace since November. There is no cartilage left in the knee, the leg is bowing out, and stairs and down hill grades make the knee push out even further so much so that the two raised nobs in the joint which grow upward from the Tibia are ground mostly flat. The surgeon is worried that the femur is showing signs of fracturing. I was hoping to put surgery off until I'm sixty but the cracking means I go now instead. I'll post up the x ray later.
So I will log my rather light weight work outs starting tomorrow and log through the rehab.... Thanks for reading!
