    Deadlifts

I've been a conventional dead guy since I started. After back surgery in may i tried sumo. I'm in love! I lifted a couple conventional sets of only 225 last week and had back pain for a couple days after. Today I hit a triple with 475 sumo and I feel great. Might have been able to hit 5 but in my mind was a triple and that's what I did.

    Anybody here do/like sumo?

I had a big deadlift at on time, but rarely do them anymore. i never really worked on the sumo form.

Hit up some bpc-157 for back recovery. Shit's magic.

I've sumo-ed a long time ago and found it to be mostly a leg thing, personally. But I'm built for conventional. So for me, it seemed like a squat substitute more than anything. But, that was a long time ago.

And I haven't deadlifted for reps in many years. (Stiff-legged or whatever, but that's totally different). There's this exercise called a good morning, and I swear there's nothing like it.

I do some rack pulls but haven't done full deads in ages. Racks are far less frequent too.

Sumo is what I do for a taller guy like me.
