    greasy nuts

    lol @ the title...

    i bought a big ass can of mixed nuts and they are greasy as hell...does this mean they may be baked with unhealthy fats?

    Total Fat: .........................15g
    saturated fat......................2.5g
    Trans Fat.......................0g
    Polyunsaturated Fat.........4g
    Monounsaturated fat........8g

    Ingredients: Blanched and Unblanched peanuts, Cashews, Almonds, Brazil Nuts, Macadamia Nuts, Pecans, Peanut and/or Canola and or Cottonseed oil, Salt.

    Its probably the oils....

      yup, it's the oils. Gotta go for something that's dry roasted or raw.

            "Typically" unless you bought them raw, they used some type of oil to prepare them b/c no nuts that I can even think of are greasy when raw.
            Perhaps if their really old?
