Help!!!!!

My wife got me a gift certificate to a local tattoo parlor and I'm kinda lost on what I want to get. I would like a more traditional sailor jerry style tattoo and I'm a fan of that love thy neighbor tattoo but I also have 2 kids that I want to do something as a tribute to them and how much I love them.

Some of you know me pretty well so let's open this up to a brain storming thread for me.

I haven't heard sailor jerry mentioned in awhile! I would say go with something that is different, something that is unique, something you don't see all over the place. I see some good ideas in here and you can take those ideas and form your own tattoo from them, just don't go with something that someone else has because that don't make it special to you it just makes it another familiar tattoo with different names in it. The last thing you want is someone going I have the same tattoo or hey I know someone with that same tattoo just different names. Footprints are nice but everyone has them, if you could do the footprints in a different manner or pattern to make it unique to you that's a good idea. I always like being unique and individualized rather than the same as everyone else or of the norm, think outside the box and remember it will be there forever.

i got my girlfriends name tattooed on my chest when i was 18 and regretted it so much....i finally got an italian flag covering it a few years ago ...........

I figured it out I have a heart with my wedding date in Roman numerals so I'm gonna do two more one in pink one in green (kids favorite colors). I hope I have the room where I want it.

LOL....so when he gets caught with this and "they" remove it for him unwillingly? We luv you Buff.....
Ive got lots of ink ,Id like to get more but never any time to dedicate to it .
