Errr, dam thieves

I forgot to mention over the weekend me and my gf went out to the suburbs. Very nice, quite neighborhood. We visited a few Shopping centers. On our way out I noticed that the Car logo on the tires were missing. For a second I thought it wasn't her car, but sure enough it was. Someone decided to steal the caps off her rims(don't' know the name), not only that, but the full size spare under the car. Unbelievable what people will do. Kind of sad really. Anyway, thought I'd share:stickpoke
 
That sucks man!
I used to work as a bagger when I was in high school - and when I would go out collecting carts I would sometimes catch people stealing hubcaps and centercaps off wheels... and I worked in kind of an upscale area at the time.

Even had someone steal the damn caps off my valve stems on my tires one day... while my car was parked here at work right in front of the windows!!
 
Think about it guys....you wouldn't go stealing caps in a shitty part of town would you? If you were into that sort of thing, you would want to go to a part of town other than where you reside...and you would want to steal them from people with nice stuff...who are not likely to be packing.

So it makes sense I guess.

I rented a house in New Orleans..actually south of there in Gretna. It was one of the nicer neighborhoods around. 8 days into the lease, somebody broke into my truck and stole a pistol and a cell phone. They got in through the keypad on the truck. 10 days later, they opened the door on my brother's car that was on a trailer..being towed to get some tuning work done on it the following morning. The car was only there for 6 hours, and they opened the unlocked door but couldn't get in because of the fenders on the trailer. He has about 7k in the stero in that car, so we got lucky there.
 
it dos,nt pay nowadays to own anything decent, some tosser allways wants something for nothing and don,t want to work for it!! a hammer to the knuckles shoud do the trick i think!!
 
If we had caning for fucking trash like these people, this shit would stop real fast.
 
well, something like that happened to me as well. My son and I were in the house sleeping while my wife was out working and someone broke into my house and stole my PS2 from underneath the TV, took all the wiring the contorller (no games for it anymore used as a DVD player mostly), and left the TV itself. I don't live in a bad area I would say, but what a violation of my... sense of security. So I know how you feel.
