Working for a large corporation

Yeah i've been to a few of thoes lol. I've worked for a couple of large corp. that wanted to boost moral so they would have weekly " personal development" meetings. At my current position i'm always in meetings. I even had a meeting on how to get more productivity out of my employees( huh lets see less meetings maybe lol)
 
one thing positive about walmart though is even though they start at $7 an hour, they have no cap, I know 2 eldery cashiers that work at our walmart and they have both been there for 10+ yrs and they make over $14 an hour, now tell me where else is an old lady gonna make $14+ an hour to run a cash register?
 
I agree as long as the modivation is good for the employee. In some cases the modivation comes in place of a raise. In some places i've worked the exec.(which at some companys I worked I was not to proud to say I was) Decided that the employees needed to have "personal development" meetings. Which entailed 1 hr per week to raise their productivity. When raise time came all were graded below standard on purpose as to not give raises. Then the bottom 2% were let go to make a point that the employee was lucky to have a job. I hated those places and I left them ASAP. I currently like the place I work. Still some of the politics just burns me up. At least here I have somewhat of a say in how my employees are treated. (Which santa left them something fat and green in their stocking lol)
 
Yeah I hear ya about the family members. I worked for a Co. that my boss hired a good friend. So then when she was told by her boss that 1 person in each department must be fired she had an awful choice. Fire me who had all the knowlege in the dept or fire a friend who she would still have to see everyday regardless. I found a new job and made the desion easy for her lol.

these 2 ladies I have known my whole life, they no reason to lie about their wage. do you ever trust anyone? you seem to think everyone is lying in life
 
I never met anyone in my life who has so much disbelief or doubt. It just surprises me that in one sentence you say I am a good person. And the next sentence you doubt everything I say.
I can't figure it out? What do I have to gain, to lie to you, or anyone on the board?
