Why is it almost all the pros & big names in bb over the past 10 years or so have such huge fuggin delts? I mean, it appears that one delt is the same size - or bigger - than a pec. Wtf? You didn't see this in the past. With the exception of a few delt genetic freaks like Levrone or Ruhl, most all guys including Arnie, Zane, Haney, Yates, Ray, Coleman - all had pecs that were much larger than delts. And as should be, as the pec muscle is much larger than a delt muscle naturally. I'm guessing alot of oil?

I prefer old delts, as in, the ones I used to have. For the life of me I couldn't see taking a synthiod shot in my delts (although EQ and Or test, sure, 3x week;)). Hank, always thought you had great delts! Remember what Reeves said, "It's all about proportion."

It's a combo of both I would say hank. My delts have always overpowered my pecs. I have a strong chest but it doesn't grow. Tried everything and my delts kept growing. I think it's a combo of genetics and oil. The guys want the X look when standing on stage "relaxed"

My delta are pretty big. But I've always done a lot of shoulder work. It helped strengthen my overall pressing power. But something else I've wondered was it partly because I used to pin delta all the time because they are so easy to reach.
Now I do exclusively quad pins due to ease and amount of area to choose from, so I'm not pinning in my favorite spot in a certain shoulder tatoo.

Delts has always been a weak bdpt for me relatively speaking. It's one of the first bdpts that comes to life if I'm on, but damn when off awhile they disappear. Genetics - what are ya gonna do.
