A TAX QUESTION

Anyone here familiar with taxes, other than paying them? LOL. My question is how much of a tax refund can a person receive? Is there a limit to how much a person can get back from taxes? The reason I ask is because when it is all said and done, my wife and I will have a negative income of close to 50,000.00 and I am wondering exactly how tax refunds work. Surely the IRS won't give me a tax refund of 50 grand to bring us to 0, but we should be due something right? Thank for all who know. I hate fucking taxes.

That doesn't sound right. I know alot of people who make barely 20 grand, and get back several thousand in tax refunds with EIC and whatnot. My brother got back almost 10 grand a few years ago and I know he didn't pay in that much.
