My son was born August 10th!! I have never been so happy and felt so much love for something in my life. I know its cliche as shit "you dont know love until you have a kid"... God thats true!!!

That being said I have been out of the gym since late July. I just have a big adjustment. When the boy is older I will try to start going back after work, but now it is impossible.

My question is this: Who here goes late at night? I usually get in bed around 11:30 at night. I have some down time before then. I want to try to go workout around 9-10:30PM then come home and go to bed. My concern is being able to "wind down". I am afraid I will be jacked up. I wont be taking pre--workout stuff. So I wont have to worry about that. Does anyone do this? How are your results? Will it be ok to go after "supper"?

I notice I can still get good workouts at night but it does take me a couple hours to wind down n I never use pre workout...

Congrats black.. do you have about 5-700 $ to spare. U can get a nice home gym with that that can allow you to do the basics without taking away much time.

But to answer your question no problem sleeping after work out, you will get used to it. Our bodies are resliient.

Dude, if that's the time that you have, then it is good to go.
I had to go down the road too. It's a bit confusing. :-)

Pack (fanny) for the chat... 'up around.... jump around...

A preacher like yours, with a story like this behind it; would be such a thing to memorialize.

Like you, I wind down last a night too. And the mere fact that skipping acts meddles comes up from time to time, is a bonus. Cool coming of old man age thing story. Hopefully, Hollywood doesn't disparage the story.

Train when you can. For me I think I relied on a home gym that I could hit for 20 minutes at a time. Realize that it's not a time to make big improvements but a time to maintain. Then again I think after a few months I was pretty much back in the gym since it was close by. It was something that I just did. I helped with the babies but also keep myself in the equation.

I had a job before requiring me to be at work at 6 am. I'd hit the gym at 4 am. I don't that I could get a good w/o after work.

It depends. I just awoke from a nap that I took after doing legs. When I train very hard I react by sleeping afterwards.

But I remember being amped up after workouts some years ago. Of course some of that might have been the tren. Idk. See what works.
