anyone here have hair transplants?

Just had one... wont see results until 5-6 months minimum

My brother in laws surgery cost him $1,800 and he said he would have paid twice that..
 
10K, to be honest anything lower I would question there legitimacy.... its one of those thing where you get what you pay for

He just did the hair club for men thing I think? I would have to ask.But I believe Bosley??? But I do know he just had a couple places fixed in the front where he a receding hair line, Now mines getting high and tight on the side and a small spot on top size of a half dollar and starting to turn grey a little, But hey I always said I don't care what color it turns long as it don't turn loose! But now that I get older I care less about my hair and more about my muscle since it seems to go faster than hair..

I must get mine from my mother Dad because my Dad just turned 89 in may and has a full head of hair and it didn't even start to turn grey untill he hit 80..
 
A guy at my gym had hair transplant, he said that it's expensive but I must say that the results are great.

MG likes shaved heads :D

my guess is he didnt have an actual hair transplant, (taking a strip of skin/hair off the back of your head and putting hair follicles in receding areas), looking at 7500 minimum for that. he had another form, more or less its like a permanent wig with your own hair.
HT's are very undetectable if done correctly, matthew mcconaughey is a great example of you get what you pay for when it comes to the service.
 
Can anyone here recommend a doctor they used or their friends used with great results .
 
im pretty bald, i have decent sized widow's peaks and a fairly thin crown, so i just keep it short or shave it---screw it im happily married to a woman who used to cut my hair (no joke its how we met) and she loves me no matter what---but ive been losing my hair since i was about 20 and was still able to pull decent looking ass in my prime

Widows peak makes a huge difference. it makes ur front hair line seem lower than it really is if it makes sense. I wish i ahd a widows peak. count chocula style.

lol,me too.i made sure i met and married a fine looking girl before i turned into a q ball.now 17yrs later she's just a old bitch,and i'm a bald asshole.

thats an understatement.
 
my hair has been thinning for the past 15 years and I'm hanging on to what I can for now. No sick combover or anything like that, still high & tight for the most part. I have a few bad scars on my noggin and a little worried about shaving it, but that day is not too far off. I don't think that I have enough vanity to cough up a few thousand $ for this, rather get another bike to be honest.
