Real fuckin happy for phil. Been friends with him for a long time, hope the drop to 170 treats him well
 
did he get popped once for winny and equipose.. i thought i heard that.. good fighter though
 
I always wanted to see him knock out Titus, remember when those two had a beef going on.

I never cared for Titus ever since he sucker punched Melvin Anthony at Golds in Venice. He needed a good ass kicking, now he is probaly getting a good ass pounding..:eek:
 
I dont know about him kicking Titus's ass, though. Titus had 50 pound on him , he might not be as skilled as Phil but Ive heard Titus could get down .
 
Phil Baroni says he will not be pressing charges after being subjected to a cowardly assault by an associate of his defeated opponent Scott Jansen at Saturday night’s Cage Rage event.
“These things happen.” Said Baroni. “It must be tough to see a loved one get knocked out like that. Emotions ran high. I want to put this behind me.”
Baroni, who was making his welterweight debut, knocked Jansen out in the first round of their fight.
As medical staff surrounded Jansen, Baroni approached to check on his condition and was unexpectedly headbutted by Jansen’s associate, who then immediately fled the ring. Insult was added to injury when Jansen’s girlfriend launched into a foul-mouthed tirade against Baroni. But Baroni stayed calm and made no attempt to exact retribution for the assault — although his cornerman Mark Coleman was reportedly eager to do so.
The incident was broadcast live and once again calls into question Cage Rage’s policy of allowing friends and family into the cage after fights.
Cage Rage co-promoter Dave O’Donnell says that action has already been taken following the incident and that the organisation “has issued a ban on a member of Scott’s family attending future fights.”

you got to be kidding titus would run out of gas after 30 seconds... baroni's a trained fighter any untrained person even a dude as big as titus wouldn;t last long
 
Ive always thought Baroni was an entertaining explosive fighter. It was hard watching him fight Shamrock. I recall his big mouth has got him into trouble in the past but it seems hes trying to grow up a little. Is he not associated with elite-xc anymore? That coward that headbutted him is a total disgrace, lucky for him he ran away before Coleman or Baroni got him.
 
Cage Rage partnered up with ProElite, parent company of EliteXC.

Titus would've went down like Canseco did but in much more brutal fashion.
