Anyone, have any tips trying to keep your bowel healthy on a low carb low calorie diet. (changing it is not an option).

Metamucil does work for me.

I eat 3.4 cups of brocolli, 1 gallon water and 2-3 fibercon capsules. but even with this it is unpredictable. I feel stuffed up and bloated.

Broccoli gives me issues if not cooked til soft. I also use green beans as replacement.

Can't drink more water. I feel like I am saturated at 1 gallon and constantly full.

make smoothies with kale.
It's super fibrous. I up my intake whenever I feel blocked up; and it works like a charm. Mind you, the experience will be butt-peeing a garden; your shit will be green. But it will work.

You mean broccoli is the ONLY veggie you are eating? Throw in some fresh salads which have lettuce, cucumber, carrots, tomato, onion, etc. Eat spinach. Throw in an apple a day - yeah it may have a few carbs, but shitting regularly takes priority over 25g extra carbs right?

"New Stevia Balance" packets. 100 per Box about $8 on Amazon. 1 packet per day in a container (6oz) low fat yogurt with 1 tbsp raw oatmeal; poop city! Regular, smooth, and full elimination. What more can you expect for less?

After a meal have a half glass of water with a tbsp of baking soda. Always good for a serious burp to relieve gastronomic pressure.

I eat veggies and fruit but have always had bowel issues. Nothing helps and I cannot add fiber because I have diverticulosis. I take magnesium. It helps a bit but not much.
