Seriously, I guess some of you are lucky enough to jump on now a ride, but up here in PA there's salt chunks all over and icey spots. Ridable, yes, if you have some heated grips or gloves, but for the most part we are garage-bound.
Was looking at my dead battery and oil-stained jacket and wondered, "What kind of jackets do the other guys use?"
I have a combo-touring jacket. It's breathable mesh with a wind-breaker liner. This time of year I usually add 3 more layers, if I ride at all.
I've ridden to work (21 miles) with the temp as low as 32 degrees and my hands were dangerously cold. I had to rub one on the finns of the engine just to keep my fingers from freezing, bt the jacket, who wears what?
And don't say you ride in a wife-beater because that will just piss me off!
