Dog killed infected racoon

My pitbull killed a raccoon a couple of days ago.. The coon bit him on the face during the battle.. I took the coon to the vets it tested positive for rabies.. My dog has had all the proper shots.. He got a booster that day.. Should i be worrried he still might get it.. The vet said to keep an eye on him for the next 30 days
 
You should always be a little worried, just keep an eye on on him. Im sure he will be fine.
BTW- im from Roc.
 
cool man i was born in rochester.. chili.. I love my dog more than anything hes my baby there actually my parents dogs but i grew up with him hes about nine now.. We have a mail and a female to of the sweetest most loveing dogs ever.. It will be easy to tell if something wrong with him hes such a nice dog.. im gonna pray for the best

good luck bro

my only pit was a very loving dog as long as you followed her rule . no one and i mean no one[ not even me ] could holler at/spank/threaten my kids . the vet said she thought my boy was her pup , she actually made milk lol. i was in the military then and away a lot and she was PERFECT , total protection from others and she wouldnt hurt the kids to save herself.
 
I love Pits..my girl was with me from the begiining,had to be put down,she was old,....the best girl ever,very Loving,Loyal...etc....she was cremated,forever she is with me...........Love U Maiden/./////.....Z
