If you care about your country you need to read this book. It is only 160 pages long, but it sums up simple, rational, and most importantly CONSTITUTIONAL solutions to all of our problems as Americans with our government.

Seriously, everyone needs to read this. I don't care if you are a Liberal or Conservative, this is a reminder of what this country was founded upon.

A few other books I have read recently that I shall review in case anyone cares.

Deception Point by Dan Brown

This was the same guy that wrote The Da Vinci Code but honestly I think this one is better. If you are into government conspiracies (this one doesn't talk about religion) I strongly recommend this book. You think you know who the bad guy/gal is for a while, but the ending will definitely surprise you. That and the book does not start out slow, it is exciting the whole way through, and I was literally on the edge of my chair in the last 100 pages or so.

Sun Tzu's The Art of War

This book is over 4000 years old and the principals in it are still practical to warfare today. This guy made warfare a science, it really is amazing.

The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster by Bobby Henderson

If you have a sense of humor about religion, this will make you laugh your ass off. Fucking hysterical to say the least.

In addition I just finished Hannibal Rising by Thomas Harris, about Hannibal Lector growing up. The movie sucked but the book was really good.

Cheers Cruci, I'll have a look at it. I've read Dan Brown's 4 novels, decent story teller, whether or not you take too much out of the subject matter. I'm reading The Last Templar by some guy with a funny name, (can't remember right now). Very good so far, set in modern times with historical references to the time of the Crusades and an insight to who and what the Knights Templars were. There's a good quote on the back cover from Pope Leo X in the 16th century "It has served us well, this myth of Christ"

As for Dan Browns novels, they are fiction based on true organizations. But since it is fiction I am not trying to get a history lesson from it, I just think they are fun to read.

I have heard about "The Last Templar" I will have to check it out.
