What kinda diet do you guys suggest while recovering hPTA.

I am 165 lbs at 13% body fat.

Eat too little and my body is in starvation mode and recovery of HPTA is not optimal, and eat too much and i put on fat easily due to hormone misbalance.

personal experience appreciated.
Thanks

I just put out a video on Youtube on how to squat 600lbs while eating glazed donuts, and even licking the glaze off of my fingers before I rack the weight. So I guess I wouldn't be much help.

LMAO!!!

Really higher intake of good healthy fats including omegas will help keep weight on and assist in HPTA stuff.

Jeeez I feel like Mr Wizard. Going off is just a suck ass time period. You are going to go downhill pretty much no matter what you do. best things you can do are probably 1) keep working out but reduce intensity and frequency 2) eat clean and lower carbs than when on 3) use a modest PCT protocol and don't over do it 4) expect to slide backwards.

If you stay off long enough you will go back to yourself. Steroid gains only get you to slightly higher plain than you will get to naturally. Sorry but that is the sad reality. If you go from 170 to 220 at 11% BF and then you go off and you drop to 200 at 13% BF then the later is where you probably would be naturally after training hard for 10 years with maybe a little bit extra. Think of these things like putting a bigger carburetor, higher ratio rocker arms and headers on your engine in your 68 Chevelle. You make 20% more horse power and burn more fuel. Take those parts off and put the stock parts back on and you lose that 20%.

Maintain a high protein, moderate to low carb, low fat diet year around.
