Go Buckeyes! :D

Go Browns! :D

I prolly won't see this happen in the same year again in my lifetime.LOL :p

Browns just need to protect and run the ball. NO TURNOVERS. Sucks that lost Vernon. If they can I believe they have a shot at beating the Steelers.

I dont know about rolling all over the tide. But it should be a great game.
As for the Browns, like my Buccaneers it's been a long time.

If the Bucs played anything like they did against Clemson they may roll.

Way too long for the Browns. I remember back in the late 80s when they had their best chances....Kosar, Mack, Byner, Slaughter, Langhorne, Newsome, Dixon, Minnifield, Baker, Mathews, Johnson, Hairston, Micheal Dean, Wright....just ta name a few.

Ahhh man what memories there brother! I hated John Elway back in them days, as did ALL Browns fans haha! :p The thing that sucked, IIRC, was the Browns was the only AFC team who had a overall winning record at the time against some of the 80's NFC powerhouses, like the Niners and the Giants. Had they made it to the big dance, they had a good chance of winning, unlike how Denver flopped BIGTIME 3x against the Giants, Skins and Niners.

I moved to VA for work back in '87, and all those southern boys in VA were either Skins or Cowboys fans. Cowboys fans couldn't say much bcoz they sucked in the 80's, but them Skins fans gave me hell over "the fumble" and "the drive". Then with college ball, in VA you had your VA Tech fans and the VA Cavaliers - both teams who pretty much sucked in NCAAF. Sooo, I did a lot of smack talk being a Buckeyes fan haha, but I sure caught HELL during the late 80's & 90's when fukking Cooper went 2-10-1 against Michigan. I can't believe they let Cooper hang around that long considering just HOW big that OSU/Mich rivalry has always been. When Tressel finally came along, it was like a Godsend haha. :D

No doubt brotha. I never really liked Cooper, Tressel.....Ok,.....loved Myer. Always had the Bucs in the top 5 and best of all.....a great record against Michigan.

.....BTW....your handle in reference to the Browns?

Haha amazing. I’ll cheer for the browns tonight. I’m focused on a hockey pool instead of football.

Maybe next season we should get a football pool going here ???

What else?LOL :D

It's been my handle since coming to the boards in '02.

I actually went to a game in the late 80s with my dad and sat in the midst of the Dawg Pound.....I was about 16. At half-time I remember getting shoved in the back a few times....I initially ignored it.....and after several more pushes I stood up and turned around....the next two rows behind me were duken' it out.....had ta be twenty or so people in a big brawl. My dad turned to me and said.....'Thats Cleveland'.

Well that was a beatdown haha. Congrats to Bama and Saban on winning his 7th title, more than any other coach in NCAAF. They looked unstoppable tonight.

It went pretty much as expected. I was shocked they even played in the championship having played only 5 regular games.
I think the Browns have a little better chance than the buckeyes did. But it's still going to be an uphill struggle.

I was surprise that the Bucs made it there as well. They have potent offense but defense was lacking a bit.

I agree that the Browns had a better chance at beating the Steelers than the Bucs winning the National Championship. I had faith in the Browns and I had....most everyone I debated about the game said they had no chance. The big key was not turning the ball over.

It won't be as easy against the Chiefs.
