Less than a week away fight fans! Say who ya like & why? Or say nothing and just vote! Let's get ready to rummmmmmmmbbbllllllllllllllllllllllllllllleee! :igok:

My take is Pac by decision. I think he will outwork Floyd. GO PACMAN!

I just want Mayweather to lose. Cocky prick! I can't stand guys that are full of themselves.

While my heart wants pac to win, experience has taught me to bet with my head.

And my head is telling me that Mayweather is only laying 2:1 on most betting lines. Thats a back up the truck and bet the farm opportunity IMO.

TTT

This poll has been up 3 days and only 10 votes! Are you kidding me? Arguably the biggest fight of all time and only 10 votes with all the online members here? Btw, the poll results are anonymous, so even if you guys don't want to comment, hell, at least vote if you care anything about boxing. I'm gonna start banning members asses if y'all don't vote! (j/k...or not :D )

It was "decent". It just never ramped up to a thriller. The tempo was ok.

Exciting enough to remain captivated as Manny had his moments; but these were all very short lived.

I'd rate it a 7.5/10 IMO.

These things get so hyped up it's most impossible to meet the expectations.

Mayweather is a woman beating thug punk. He should probably be in prison.

Heard the fight sucked

It did suck! I was so pissed off.lol Why? Bcoz Pac wasn't NEAR as busy as he should have been. At one point he only threw 52 punches over 2 rds. And the weird thing was, it wasn't bcoz Floyd was picking him apart - making him hesitant to throw - as happens with most Floyd fights. Come to find out in the post fight press conference, Pac partially tore his right delt 3 weeks before the`fight in training. Roach and crew said they didn't report it, bcoz they said it was healing slowly but surely, and thought it would be healed "enough" for him to get the job done. Even more, officials did NOT let him get an anti-inflammatory injection for the shoulder, even though the drug testing commision approved it - wtf? They also said they didn't want to disappoint fans with a postponement.

Play the violin? You decide. I for one believe it, bcoz that was NOT the Pac I have watched over the years - even recent years - and again, not bcoz Floyd was picking him apart to make him hesitant - not by a long shot. When asked by reporters why he wasn't nearly as busy as he needed to be, and why so many "idle" periods, Pac said his right shoulder was hurting so much that he couldn't throw like he wanted.

Btw I had no qualms with the decision for the fight we seen - I had it 8 rds to 4 (116-112) for Floyd. Good to see the judges didn't bring any controversey.

How on earth does camp-Pac screw this up!! A 100-million dollar mistake

Idiots.

The Associated Press
Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao
LAS VEGAS ? Manny Pacquiao said a right shoulder injury prevented him from fighting at his best in his loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Nevada officials also denied Pacquiao's request to take an anti-inflammatory shot in his dressing room before the fight Saturday night. The chairman of the Nevada Athletic Commission said the ruling was Pacquiao's fault for not mentioning his injury sooner.

"It's part of the game," Pacquiao said. "I don't want to make alibis or complain or anything ... (but) it's hard to fight one-handed."

Pacquiao, trainer Freddie Roach and promoter Bob Arum were vague on the details of the injury, but confirmed that they considered postponing the bout a few weeks ago.

"I thought he fought a courageous fight under all the circumstances, and I'm very proud of what he accomplished tonight," Arum said.

Pacquiao got hurt some time after mid-March, and Arum said the injury was "the same as the one Kobe Bryant had."

Bryant tore his rotator cuff in January, ending his season with the Los Angeles Lakers. Arum didn't make it clear whether that was the injury he was referencing, but said Pacquiao consulted the same doctor that treated Bryant.

Arum said Pacquiao's camp thought he would be allowed to have an anti-inflammatory shot because he had similar treatment during training. The shots also had been approved by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.

But Arum said Top Rank filed incorrect paperwork about the injury, and the Nevada commission ruled against the request for a shot.

Francisco Aguilar, chairman of the Nevada Athletic Commission, said the Pacquiao team did not disclose the injury until Saturday night, so the requests for permission to take the shot and to have a personal doctor in Pacquiao's corner were denied.

"We were not aware of his injury until tonight at 6:30," said Aguilar, who made the ruling. "The medications he was taking were disclosed on his medical questionnaire, but not the actual injury. ... This isn't our first fight. This is our business. There is a process, and when you try to screw with the process, it's not going to work for you."

Pacquiao's camp apparently hoped the fighter could compete without the shot. Despite Pacquiao's limitations, Arum said he didn't regret putting Pacquiao into the fight at less than full strength.

"Athletes always fight hurt," Arum said. "We felt that the work that was done on the shoulder during training would give him the opportunity to use the right hand. We were disappointed when in the third round the injury kicked up again, but this is always the case with sports. You get guys injured in training. He then deals with the injury, he thinks he's conquered it, and then he gets re-injured in the game. It happens in football. It happens in any sport."

Mayweather concurred with his former promoter, noting that he fought with injuries to both of his arms and hands.

The post-fight disclosure of Pacquiao's injury adds a legitimate angle to discussion of a rematch.

Pacquiao demonstrably fought with only a portion of his usual punch output, and his inability to use his right hand consistently made it easier for Mayweather to control the fight.

I had it 4 rounds each going into the 9th....then pac did nothing the last 4 rounds. I was pretty disappointed because when he went at Mayweather, he was winning.

I had rounds 1, 3, 5, 7 for Mayweather because Pac wasn't aggressive...

I had rounds 2, 4, 6, 8 for Pac because he was aggressive.

The rounds that Pac lost, Mayweather didn't do much imo...but it was enough to win them.

It sucks to see the mega-fight had to happen with some circumstantial bullshit. I mean, lets face it - Pac is one of the most humble guys around, and has NEVER been one to make excuses when getting beat. Hell, he didn't even say a bad word about Bradley winning the first fight, even though everyone else seen it different and had Pac winning. I blame Roach and his whole damn corner for letting him get in there in the fight of his life with a torn RC!

after all the waiting....that fight sucked unfortunately. and we all know it isn't going to stop mayweather from shooting off his mouth after winning a pretty unfair fight. his mouth and attitude are just a few of the reasons I was hoping pac would light his ass up but unfortunately it didn't happen. all we can hope for is a rematch...but I doubt mayweather will go for it. :thumbsdow

This whole thing kind of sealed the deal for me on just giving up hope on boxing... The mayweather hugss, the law suits, the what ifs.... ECT.. Its annoying and money hungry
