mild trap tear

I have a slight tear in my right trap, best I can describe it as it feels like getting a real bad knot. But it's confirmed as a tear unfortunately. Doc told me to lay low on any lifting blah blah - how long does this shit take to fix normally ? I've seen people blow out their pecs, and be back pretty quickly , my buddy had a 3 inch tear at his last event and wasn't out for long! I don't trust doctors with many areas but this is one of those ones where I don't know what to do except wait :/.

Wait a full week and re-asses, it is probably a partial staggered tear else you would have said. Its still a tear though so ewait a week then do some very mild stretching, after two weeks train shoulders ultra light but no shrugs UR rows, no trap work in isolation. Then get physio to massage away tension, but not quite full blown deept tissue massage yet. Report back in

yeah it's not a full blown tear - i got it deadlifting this AM. A week sounds about what I was hoping for, on 2ius GH and GHRP2 also,, hope every bit counts... fucking hate injuries but esp at the start of a cycle .. boils my blood.

my training partner suckered me into mornings - I was always good with cardio also, even sparring in the AM is fine - but lifting I get sloppy. That's what happened here, now I gotta wait this shit out.

As long as it hurts even just a little, I wouldn't do any direct trap work, give yourself 4-6 weeks. Work around the injury. Although I probably wouldn't fully follow my own advice.

I'm gonna lay off it for sure but I'm not gonna fool myself into thinking I'll be off it for 4 weeks, that's just not gonna happen, I know myself too well. haha. Just saying truth there bro !
