Mr. Olympia 2013 - predictions?

The O is coming up this weekend. What's everyones take? I think if Phil is on, it's his to lose. Jay is looking awesome - I counted him out before when he came back after losing to Dex only to see him take it. Big Ramy is a freak - hope he's in condition to make some callouts against Jay, Phil and crew. Here's my prediction:

1) Phil
2) Jay
3) Kai
4) Ramy
5) Rhoden
6) Wolf
 
I don't have a clue at this point. Each looks phenomenal in individual pics, so it's hard to say until you see them lined up against one another. I'd have to say Phil is probably the favorite though at this point. I'm pretty damn excited for this one though, it should be one of the best if going by what is down on paper.

I wouldn't count Jay out either at this point, he looks great.

Wish I was going to see it live, the BB.com web viewer hasn't always been too great in the past.
 
I haven't seen too many pre contest pics like other years. I would like to see jay take another one but Phil looks unstoppable. This is definitely one of the more hyped up Olympias I've been looking forward to
 
Phil will win due to the politics of the sport unfortunately. I'd like to see jay take the crown back tho. and i'm a fan of branch and evan
 
Hank, your line-up is spot on. I think Jay would beat Phil for #1 except for politics.
 
I agree with the top three then I'm lost at where anyone else will place.
 
I think it could be Kai's year. He nearly beat Phil last year, and he has been coached by George Farah this year, and he is bigger and leaner than ever. At two weeks out he was 291 and pretty peeled.

I'm interested in seeing how it all plays out though with Jay in the mix now too
 
From what other bodybuilders say "Kai will never win the Mr. O because of his past" ie nude dancing, stripping, gay stuff etc

I heard the same about his bdwt. I think it will kill him, not help him. Kai is 5'7 - he won't win playing the size game. I believe it will hurt his conditioning bigtime and he may even fall out of the top 5 if it's indeed true.
 
This one will be tough to call because of Kai loosing by 1 point last year, He's very hungry but with all the politics with Phil it still not looking good for Kai but I would like to see him win it once at least!
With that said I think Jay's day's are over as far as being number #1 now with ramey in the mix this will be very interesting one to watch for sure! I would love to be there to see it myself..
 
Kai has too much dirty laundry washed out in public and i don't think he gets it. he still does guest posing routines in what looks like a gay stripper outfit. He has a video out where he gets a BJ by a gay guy in a gay club as he is doing a striptease. Then there is the grapefruit incident. He just recently posed completely naked less than 2 weeks out for this O. The IFBB has a long history of image protection.

Definately Phil at #1
Don't see Jay at #2 simply because Weider has a lot invested in Phil at this point. Maybe a #5 spot for Jay.
Kai I see at a strong 4, but not higher simply because he lacks upper chest.
I don't think Big Ramy will place in the top five, maybe the top ten only because he doesn't have the experience and muscle maturity of a Centopi or Warren, who I believe will both place in the top 5.
But we will see.
I'm not a body builder so I don't keep up with tings a whole lot except through my subscrip to Muscular D.
 
It's the Phil Heath show......................and everybody else.

Jay is way off. Branch is way off. Dexter is the same. Ramy will not be in the top 5. 2-4 is between Rhoden, Kai, and Wolf.

Iris Kyle won her 9th Ms. O....but damn, if Alina Popa isn't the best damn good looking FBB probably ever.
 
Wow Jay looked so much smaller. His legs were dwarfed by Wolfs and pretty much the whole 1st call. Kai looked like he spilled over a little. Wolf looked great. Phil hands down #1.
 
Wolf looked friggin' killa - deserves 2nd IMO. Phil looked like a cartoon character - just insane. :eek: Jay needs to hang it up - too many imbalances now with age and really looked out of place up there with the other top guys.

Congrats to Iris for winning 9 O's!
 
Wolf looks great, depending on today he could take 1st is Heath doing show well

Jay looked good, but his back was really lacking like before.
 
Watching the live stream now, jay looks a lot better tonight compared to prejudging. Same with Kai, he definitely will take 2nd where last night it looked like wolf would

With the new crop of so many guys with mass AND aesthetics (at least compared to Branch), I think his days of placing high are over. Same with Jay of course. Branch always counted on his super-hard, grainy condition, and even if he brings it, it's going to be tough for him IMO.
