Not many gyms carry the o'l Nautilus pullover machine anymore. I live in a somewhat decent sized city with numerous gyms. Only one gym has it. The pullover machine is a rare movement in that it is about the only movement that takes ALL biceps work out of working the lats. On top of that, it isolates and hits the lats about as directly as you can hit them, full range of motion too. Its impossible to mimic this movement via dumbell or ez bar pullovers. I get more of a pump in my lats from this exerice than virtually any other be it any variety of row, pullup, pulldown, whateva.
I highly recommend if you have this machine in your gym, to wipe the dust off that thing and throw in a few bust ass sets when working lats. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The key when doing them is when you are in the bottom/contracted part of the rep, to hold it for 1 second...after about 12 reps of these to failure or close to it, your lats will be exploding with blood. Three sets of 10-12 and your shirt will be ripping at the seams.
p.s...Btw, it doesnt necessarily have to be the Nautilus brand name...just so its a pullover machine that mimics the action in the same way.
