proton pump inhibitors - will they affect digestion.

Hi
If i take proton pump inhibitors like losec or prisolec or etc. will they effect my digestion?? The doctor said no and I cant find newhere with that listed as side effect, but wouldnt it make sense that if the block stmoach acid production my digestion will be affected/??


Is neone on here taking any PPI for a significant amount of time?

I take prisolec everyday, doesn't seem to bother me at all.

My wife was taking them and is now on zantac for slight ulcer. It doesn't effect the natural digestion bro.
