I saw in batemans thread how a lot of us are dealing with stress in different ways. Read about freezerdudes tough situation. Sorry to hear brother.

I am in a tough financial spot myself currently. Looking into filing bankruptcy. Havent had a peaceful nights sleep in a while (not so much just financial troubles but other worries as well).

A while ago I did try lexapro and it really helped me through some tough times. Although it made me lazy and lethargic, it really helped me see tihngs differently and taught me to take things easy and day by day.

I am in a lot of financial shit, but the truth is there is no one to blame but me. Over teh years I ahve definitely spent money on things i didnt need. I was never the one to nickel and dime things. hopefully i become mature as i age, or i am in for some big trouble.

Anyways jsut ranting. what are some of your stories.

Hang in there brother and try to find something positive every day in your life like for me it's my beautiful little daughter that keeps me going I know I have to stay strong and provide for her, everyone has something or someone to look forward to so keep you head up and stay strong!! I know how you feel about the sleep dude I haven't sleep more than 3 hrs in the last 4 months.. even when I take my 3 xanax ed which would knock most people out! but a man can't just give up no matter how bad it gets someone has it worse so just look aroud for some inspiration and stay strong brother and pray about it!

I filed bankruptcy a few years ago and the time flew by till I could have credit again. Completey worth it unless its for student loans.

They told me "it's cheaper to keep her", but divorce and bankruptcy was well worth it! Lol

Ya bro i know its hard...My sister had to file bankruptcy and she couldnt sleep for months...Of all the problems you can have financial problems are the worst because its constantly on your mind...I suffer from anxiety/depression also...I take celexa/klonopin and it really helped...I hope u get thru this bro we are all here for you....

Damn shovel...your my hero brother...

I did the same thing...I had to file after our divorce, but it was the only way i could keep the house in our agreement, and I took on some of her debt as well...at first i could do it and manage it...but other crap happened that was unforseen, and there wasnt any way out...

I have about 1.5 yrs left then my banruptcy will be over and then work on rebuilding credit...takes time but it will work..and like you say it was worth it...

Guys remember this, we all run into shit in our lives.....all you can do is adapt to it and get past it..i know its so much easier said than done...I been there, losing my daughter, divorce , bankruptcy, depression, losing my job, i have had it all...but now I look back on the shit now and its amazing what time heals. A good freind of mine said all you can do is keep moving forward, stop looking behind you....

Good luck to all of you in your situations...need anything or want to chat send me a PM.

I agree to an extent. Financial problems suck but they are still better than health problems. I rather file bankruptcy 9999999 times than wake up and have someone tell me I have cancer, or end stage renal disease and will need hemodialysis for rest of my life. this can always be worse.
