Whoa! What a year this has been. And what achievements we have had. If
I may quote Trotsky of all people, this Revolution is permanent. It
will not end at the Republican convention. It will not end in November. It
will not end until we have won the great battle on which we have
embarked. Not because of me, but because of you. Millions of Americans --
and friends in many other countries -- have dedicated themselves to the
principles of liberty: to free enterprise, limited government, sound
money, no income tax, and peace. We will not falter so long as there is
one restriction on our persons, our property, our civil liberties. How
much I owe you. I can never possibly repay your generous donations, hard
work, whole-hearted dedication and love of freedom. How blessed I am to
be associated with you. Carol, of course, sends her love as well.

Let me tell you my thoughts. With Romney gone, the chances of a
brokered convention are nearly zero. But that does not affect my determination
to fight on, in every caucus and primary remaining, and at the
convention for our ideas, with just as many delegates as I can get. But with
so many primaries and caucuses now over, we do not now need so big a
national campaign staff, and so I am making it leaner and tighter. Of
course, I am committed to fighting for our ideas within the Republican
party, so there will be no third party run. I do not denigrate third
parties -- just the opposite, and I have long worked to remove the
ballot-access restrictions on them. But I am a Republican, and I will remain a
Republican.

I also have another priority. I have constituents in my home district
that I must serve. I cannot and will not let them down. And I have
another battle I must face here as well. If I were to lose the primary for
my congressional seat, all our opponents would react with glee, and
pretend it was a rejection of our ideas. I cannot and will not let that
happen.

In the presidential race and the congressional race, I need your
support, as always. And I have plans to continue fighting for our ideas in
politics and education that I will share with you when I can, for I will
need you at my side. In the meantime, onward and upward! The neocons,
the warmongers, the socialists, the advocates of inflation will be
hearing much from you and me.

Sincerely,

Ron

he has always said he will not run as a 3rd party ... but one way or another I am voting for him at least, even if you have to write it in as an option.

no surprise... as was always stated... tnks anyhow.

He willl always be my hope for want this country is supposed to be.

Hate to say it as I am a big supporter but there is no way he will make it. Americans are plain too chicken.

Win lose or draw, the awareness has risen to the awakening. Others will climb aboard as they see it's more popular to do so. ALL will reap the benefits of what the Ron Paul campaign has done and will continue to do.
You can hear it in the words of all candidates. They've starting picking up RP's phrases and idea , hacking them into their own rhetoric because they know there is a movement towards truth. Turning a blind eye to the dire state of affairs will eventually not be an option.

When the economy crumbles due to the general public love of spoon fed candy coated lies from well spoken politicians and our money is worthless, when people begin to go hungry, you'll hear the cries of how somebody should've done something to prevent the catastrophe.

In the mean time the truth will be ignored.

Sad but true for a majority of people I know..
I will still back Ron to the end though, he wants to make this country great again and put us back on the right track to being self sufficient.

I voted for him in our primary. I mean ok IMO it will come down to McCain vs. Obama or Hillary. I am pretty sure we can all agree on that.

So we have the extremely liberal in conservative clothing, McCain. He was a valued war hero but wa tortured brutally for 5 years. Sought to pass laws limiting supplements lik andro, ephedra and spear heads the attack on steroids and GH.

Then there is Hillary... 'Nuff said.

so I am stuck with an addage from my old Navy days... "bro's before ho's"

unfortunately that is how I have to vote. That is a sad statement of fact.

Did find a t-shirt to go along with my sad state of affairs...

I always wonder what it would be like if the millions of people who liked the vast majority of his idea would've actually voted for him instead of saying, "He can't win."

It begs the question of why even people vote if they feel the person they want can't win as they hear others say? It's like saying , " My vote doesn't matter so I'll go ahead and throw in with 10 million others just for the hell of it."
Let me ask you this, If you are so sure Mcain is going to win, why are you even voting?
