I am thinking about getting Ambulatory Phlebectomy done on my leg, because i have a large varicose vein (the Saphenous). It supposedly takes about 2hrs and i would have to sustain from cardio or weight training for 10 days, but the dr. said the other veins that are starting to come out should also start going down and that this particular vein is what is causing it. It actually starts from the groin area. You can see where it is from my lower inner thigh. Sounds painfull, but they give you some kind of oral med that causing you to be out of it while they are doing it. I am wondering if anyone has had this done?
