I am thinking about getting Ambulatory Phlebectomy done on my leg, because i have a large varicose vein (the Saphenous). It supposedly takes about 2hrs and i would have to sustain from cardio or weight training for 10 days, but the dr. said the other veins that are starting to come out should also start going down and that this particular vein is what is causing it. It actually starts from the groin area. You can see where it is from my lower inner thigh. Sounds painfull, but they give you some kind of oral med that causing you to be out of it while they are doing it. I am wondering if anyone has had this done?

Now they are telling me off the cardio and weights for 4-6wks! big difference. Iam debating on it. I don't know what id do being off for that long, and not even can i do abs, because it actually forces blood flow down the leg. He said it really isn't significant, more less cosmetic, unless im having pain or discomfort. He'll write it off on my insurance tho as a medical need, so i wont have to pay, but i think i may hold off, unless i start getting fatigue or any kind of pain. I just can't sit around for 4-6wks not doing anything, lol! I don't know what to do :(

Varicose veins are blood vessels. it is mostly we can found on face or leg. it is same as spider veins when spider veins become in a large space on body of skin then it become a Varicose veins.
