I have just had too many irritating experiences with them!!
I ordered a new receiver for my home theater earlier this week... and it was (still is) being shipped by Fed Ex - and in the confirmation of shipment email they said there would be a signature requirement to get the package... Not good, since I work strange hours and am never home when the delivery guy comes. I emailed the company and asked if they could change the ship to address or remove the signature requirement - and they went ahead and contacted Fed Ex to remove the signature requirement. Got home last night to find a package from UPS had arrived and was sitting on my porch, but a note from Fed Ex stuck to the window said they tried, but could not deliver the package because I was not home to sign for it. :axe:
I called up the distribution center to have the package held so I could pick it up this morning, since I wouldn't be home when they tried to deliver it again today - and I emailed the shipper to let them know that the signature requirement had NOT been removed...
Well... I checked online this morning before driving to the distribution center - and the damn package is "out for delivery" again!!! :destroy:
This sucks... I can't get to their distribution center at all tomorrow because I basically work the exact hours they are open... so I won't be able to get it until Saturday sometime!
Stupid Fed Ex!! At least with UPS you can call them and have it shipped to a different address after they attempt delivery the first time... and the shipper sucks because they didn't mention the signature requirement until AFTER it shipped - or I would have just shipped it to work!! :triggerha
