A mastabatory tidbit about darkness' training

Just when I think I know a lot about myself, something new happens.

I had been training my ass off and had the trt bumped up to some extra test and a little mast and a schmidge of winni. Pounding the gym. I started feeling a little drained generally so I backed off the intensity somewhat and changed up to higher reps for three weeks. Last week was pounding hard.

So then I dropped all drugs except 200mg week of scripted test c and took a week out of the gym. Then went back with an easy-does it week followed by a go heavy as fuck 6 rep week. And I'll be damn ....

I had expected to drop some weight and some mirror sexiness with the reduced PEDs, but I look more like on a cycle now than I did on cycle. Haha. Weight is up a couple pounds but all else is good. Strength is better than the last heavy week (I alternate rep ranges, tempos, and exercises continually. )

Bro science has failed us again....

Now I'm gonna go back to the top and name the thread title.
 
Muscle confusion.
I've found I actually look better now when I'm off.
 
I'd say the full week of rest & recovery off from the gym played the biggest role in the strength increase. Especially if you were eating good during that time off.
