Anyone ever watch Locked Up Abroad?

It's a new season. I been watching this show for quite awhile now. Some MAJOR fukked up chit on there. They had that show available when I lived in S.E Asia for 4 years. I'd watch it, then be one paranoid mofo everytime I'd go out and see a police officer or a group of leery looking Filipinos giving me the side eye haha! :ugh:

Glad I did extensive research before I moved there & didn't venture down south in extreme southern Philippines where the Muslim terrorist cell Abu Sayef thrives. They are located in an isolated section in the mountainous jungles, and they are famous for kidnapping foreigners - ESPECIALLY Americans, Europeans & Australians & hold them for ransom. If they don't get what they want, off with your head. If your lucky, they will just release you after holding you hostage for 12-18 months and getting a fraction of what they want. I have to watch LUA everytime I see it's on. I find it most interesting when someone smuggles some suitcases thinking they have a few hundred grams but end up having multiple kilos. Excellent show but scary when you consider you have no "rights" at many countries.

Excellent post Alpha! I couldn't imagine being in your shoes, knowing how corrupt the police are. I'd worry they'd try to shake you down or something.
