BALTIMORE -- A Baltimore city police officer was charged with assault after he pulled a gun on a haunted house character over the weekend. Baltimore County police said Sgt. Eric Janik, 36, pulled his gun on a haunted house employee dressed up as the killer from "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" at the House of Screams show in Essex on Sunday. Police said the employee approached Janik after the haunted house tour was over in a bid to get "one last scream."Instead, Janik, who was off-duty, pulled his service weapon and pointed it at Michael Morrison's chest, authorities said. Employee Michael Morrison describes what happened to him at the House of Screams."I was doing my normal scene at the haunted house, and as I was going out the backdoor with the chainsaw, the officer pulled his gun on me. Basically, he put his gun to my chest and as I was going back in, he said he was a cop," Morrison, the man in the costume, told 11 News.He said he dropped the chain saw, which had no chain and was not dangerous.Janik was with four other people, including his 9-year-old daughter and a female officer.Charging documents show he denied pointing his loaded service weapon at Morrison. He said he pointed it at the ground.Police said Janik also appeared to be drinking."Callers said he seem to be very intoxicated. In fact, the people inside the House Of Screams noted that. When he was being process, two of the officers noticed his speech was slurred and there was a moderate odor of alcohol coming from his breath. He didn't seem to be taking this quite as seriously as he should have been," said Baltimore County police spokesman Bill Toohey. Janik has been suspended without pay pending a formal suspension hearing. That hearing will be held Thursday.Janik works patrol in the southeast district and has been on the force since 1995.Copyright 2009 by wbaltv.com. The Associated Press contributed to this report. I have a special hatred for Baltimore PD. They are corrupt bullying pricks.

some were pretty cool back in the day.. Others were complete megla-pricks

had one blonde female cop that I was very fond of

A good friend of mine was looking to buy some investment real estate in Baltimore, however he did not realize how bad the neighborhood was. He was driving through and a bunch of guys pulled guns on him in his car at a stop light. Turns out they were cops. They searched his car and his person (WITHOUT a warrant) and unfortunately for my friend he had accidentally left his pistol in his car. We live in Virginia and he had a carry permit, but VA permits do not work in Maryland. So he was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm. Why was he stopped in the first place? Well the police told him to his face why, they said "you were White in this neighborhood and we assumed that you were buying drugs." Fucking pigs. I do not see anywhere in the constitution or in any state or federal law that allows police to pull stop and search you because you are a certain color in a certain neighborhood.

They threw him in jail and it cost him about 5k in legal fees to get the charges dropped. And he did not get his gun back. The fucking pigs had NO RIGHT to stop him and search him. I hate most cops. I really really do. Nine out of ten of them are fucking pricks who just wanna bully people and believe that their tin badge makes the 4th amendment not apply to them.

The only thing I like about Baltimore is their football team. Other than that, the entire state of Maryland can burn for all I care. I grew up there and lived there for a bit when I was married, what a shitty place to live.
